so yesterday i was in downtown minneapolis with my boss. we were on our way to the court house when we walked past about 8 construction workers…i am sure most of you know the story that ensues…luckily there were no whistles…would have been embarrassing in front of the boss. however on our way back to parking ramp, we walked past the same 8 guys doing the same stupid thing. in my mind is “these guys are suddenly quiet, i know they are all staring at me, wait, don't be so paranoid” then my boss says to me…how does it feel to be leered at? THANKS!! well it sucks and it makes me feel uncomfortable. at least most men do it discreetly. Ok i work with sex offenders, so i can promise you all i was NOT looking my friday night best, yet they still stare, because i am female? and men wonder why women sometimes hate them…ha! for those who still may be clueless, its because we can't walk down the street without feeling uncomfortable.
