Last night i had the privilage of seeing the BoDeans at an outdoor show. Boy was i impressed!! Last January a friend of mine insisted that i buy the album “Joe Dirt Car” which is a compilation of live music…Despite the older couple in the front row (right in front of us) who insisted that their lawn chairs remain set up behind them, and when the crowd from behind pushed into us, the guy actually had the audacity to grab my wrist and tell me to back up and stop touching his wife. in the middle of screaming “get your hands of of me” a security guard came up to see why i was raising such a ruckus. I looked at him like, how am i supposed to NOT touch this woman standing in the FRONT ROW of a CONCERT, he just nodded his head, and then took the couples lawn chair away from them as my friend handed it over the railing. Anyway, the guy never touched me again, just shot dirty looks over his shoulder every time i failed to hold back the 4,000 people behind me from touching his wife. I was a bit saucy last night with everyone, but it was fun and i had a good time. Bare naked ladies played as well. They were great and very energetic…lots of fun to see live. Especially outdoors, my favorite way to take in music. Next year we are getting in the VIP section so we don't have to worry about me getting in fights with people. Another plus to the evening was we saw a model of the proposed “Racino” which is a casino, horse show complex, and the existing canterbury race park. They are building a cross country course in the infield of the track. By the time they get done with it, my horse should be good to go…what a riot!!
