yesterday was the first day of spring.  We have gotten more snow in the past week and a half then we got all winter.  In defiance of this weather i had my sandals on this morning.  Then i realized that today is a day when i have a couple meetings in which i actually need people to take me seriously.    There was once a time in my life when i walked up a steep quarter mile driveway barefoot in February because my open toe spikey heeled sandals were too slippery.  I am getting too old for that now…So i settled for the pointy toe heels.  As close to sandals as i dare get anymore when its this cold!
