It's a boy!  I have to admit, we weren't blown away by this discovery.  Given family history and all.  He has started kicking again.  After a long weekend of not feeling anything and being convinced that something had gone terribly wrong, the ultra sound showed quite the opposite.  You will all be glad to know that his head is attached to his spine, he has 2 kidneys, 1 bladder, 4 chambers in his heart, 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth.  Now we are on to the name search.  Jason and i have a hard time agreeing on boys names. 

 
Yesterday between appointments we were reviewing the list we had created and i came to the name "Taye" and said, i really like that one…Jason said he did too and then we had one of those moments of prolonged eye contact like THAT could be IT!!  "Cole" has also crept into the picture in the past 24 hours.  I am not adverse to either name so thats at the top of our list.  We want something that is different then the average, but not so far out there that the kid is mocked his whole life.  If you have ever looked through a baby name book touting 50,000 baby names, you would know, there is an over abundance of ridiculous and shameful names.

 

This evening we are planning a trip to the other side of town to visit with little Avery (and his parents of course) at the new grandparents house.  We have been talking for so long about "imagine, next year at this time, there will be little kids running around here", that i can't beleive that time has actually come.  Of course, i am not so sure Avery will be running around the joint, but you get the picture.
