Riley reached four months on Tueday.  things have been going so well, i am forgetting about the times i considered giving him to my mom to raise until he was 12.  He has also decided for the last two nights anyway that his new bedtime is 7:30pm, and his new waking up time is 5:00am.  BEAUTIFUL!   AND not only that but i heard him making a ruckus last night, and as i typically do, i waited for him to get louder before dragging myself out of bed, only he never did and i feel back asleep, and apparently so did he!  I have the most beautiful picture of him smiling sitting on my desk- it makes me smile every time i look at it.  yesterday amongst a sea of “really bad things” that i am working on fixing at work, there sat his picture, and my afternoon didn’t seem so bad.  I think i may be catching on to this parenting thing!
